Bryn Melyn Photography has evolved from a casual hobby. I have had an interest in photography for many years, especially in capturing the Welsh landscape, however living near Bath limited my opportunities. In 2009 my wife and I moved to Barmouth in southern Snowdonia to run a guest house called 'Bryn Melyn', ('Yellow Hill' in Welsh). This placed me right in the centre of possibly the most compelling landscape in the whole of the UK and has given me the chance to pursue my interest much further.. Snowdonia has it all - from mountains to coast, woodlands to lake, ancient forests to world-heritage sites. I have tried to capture the essence of this landscape - and others.
